About Us

We launched our program and began training for our inaugural outdoor track & field season during 2019. Our coaches have years of experience coaching at the youth and high school levels and are excited to bring the latest in speed development and training practices to the Bay County community. Coach Damion Dunlap is hurdle coaching specialist who is also a USA Track & Field Level 2 Certified and SafeSport Certified coach and is excited to train the next generation of athletes. Coach Zyris Hill is a sprints and jumps specialist who holds a USA Track & Field Level 3 coaching certification.

2023 Summer Track & Field Season

The Bay Blaze Track Club will begin training for the 2023 Track & Field Season on Monday March 20, 2023.  Training will be held on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 5:30 – 7pm at Tommy Oliver Stadium (Bay High) or the Bay High Practice Field with the Stadium is unavailable. We will also conduct regular Saturday morning practices when meets are not scheduled. Registration for the season is $100 for the first child and $80 for each additional child.  The registration fee includes a team T-shirt and access to facilities, insurance, equipment and coaches for the season. AAU membership (required), USATF membership (optional), meet fees which are typically $15-20 (See Schedule), uniforms, and footwear are additional. Registration will need to be completed prior to the athletes first practice and can be completed online at the REGISTRATION link below.  Contact us for more information.
